Politics

Politics is the process by which groups of people make collective decisions. It involves the distribution of power and resources within a society and encompasses the creation and enforcement of laws, governance, and the negotiation of conflicts among individuals or groups. Politics can occur at various levels, including local, national, and international contexts. It is characterized by the use of power, influence, and authority to achieve specific objectives, often related to the organization and regulation of society. Political systems can vary widely, ranging from democracies, where power is vested in the electorate, to authoritarian regimes, where power is concentrated in the hands of a single leader or a small group. Political ideologies, such as liberalism, conservatism, socialism, and others, shape the frameworks within which political theories and practices are developed. In essence, politics is fundamentally about how societies are governed and how decisions affecting the community are made.
