Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport in which two participants, typically wearing gloves and protective gear, engage in a contest of strength, speed, reflexes, and strategy by throwing punches at each other in a ring. The objective is to score points by landing punches on the opponent while avoiding being hit. Boxing matches are typically organized into rounds, and victory can be achieved by knockout (KO), technical knockout (TKO), or by judges’ decision based on scoring criteria. The sport has a rich history and is governed by a set of rules, which includes regulations on conduct, equipment, and safety procedures designed to protect the fighters. Boxing can be practiced recreationally, competitively at various levels, or as part of fitness training.
